I love picture books

I love picture books and so do kids.  There is such an abundance of learning that can come from a picture book. Whilst doing my assignment I came across this site ‘Storyline Online’ created by the screen actors guild which has actors/actresses reading picture books.  The site also gives some downloadable activities which accompany the book if you need inspiration.

If you are looking for some slowdown time, transitioning or actually using one the books in your lesson this site will be very useful.  The actors/actresses use great expression, the pictures are from the book and they use music as a background effect.

It is free you just have to sign up and activate the subscription.  Who doesn’t like something that is free.
